The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) has provided certain exemptions to Barclays Bank PLC (BBPLC), Barclays Capital Asia Limited 巴克萊亞洲有限公司 (BCAL), Barclays Capital Securities Limited (BCSL) and Barclays Capital Inc. (BCI) under paragraph 911A(2)(l) of the Corporations Act 2001 from the requirement to hold an Australian financial services license (AFSL) in respect of financial services provided to Australian wholesale clients, on the basis that:

• BBPLC is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority of the United Kingdom (PRA) and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) of the United Kingdom and the PRA under United Kingdom laws.

• BCAL is regulated by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (HK SFC) under Hong Kong laws.

Risk Disclosures
The Investor should bear in mind the following:

The Multi Asset Investment is not a deposit within the meaning of Article 5 of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Regulated Activities) Order 2001 but an investment product.

This product is not principal protected, there is no guarantee that you shall receive the principal of your original amount invested at maturity as your funds will be exposed to the linked asset-price volatility.

You must be prepared to incur a loss in the value of the principal of the maturing amount if it is converted to the linked asset. Such loss may be in excess of any interest gained from the Multi Asset Investment. If you receive the linked asset and decide to keep it, you may incur further losses if the linked asset depreciates.

This investment is likely to be appropriate for you if: (i) you are willing to take linked asset risks in return for potentially earning higher returns on the amount invested in maturity; (ii) you are comfortable with holding on to either the base asset or the linked asset; (iii) you are confident that you will not need to access the amount invested during the tenor of the investment; and (iv) you have sufficient liquid funds to meet unforeseen circumstances.

The principal sum and returns are repayable either in the currency in which the investment is made or in the linked asset at maturity. Early withdrawal of the Multi Asset Investment is not permitted.

The Multi Asset Investment is inherently speculative in nature and carries risks. In particular, market movements are unpredictable. If the proceeds at maturity are paid in the linked asset, there is a possibility that you will suffer a loss on your principal sum when compared with the amount of the currency initially invested. As your investment is denominated in the investment currency, you are advised to consider the impact of any conversion risk on the net returns of your investment.

Foreign controls may be imposed by countries in respect of the assets from time to time and may delay or prevent the repayment of the principal amount to you.

You may wish to seek advice from a financial adviser before making a commitment to purchase this product. In the event that you choose not to seek advice from a financial adviser, you should carefully consider whether this product is suitable for you.
